2026 Mayor's Spring Clean
Celebrate Mayor Freddie O’Connell’s Spring Clean by helping spruce up Nashville neighborhoods on Saturday, March 28!

Volunteers are needed and organizing a cleanup is easy.
1. Talk with your neighbors and pick a time for your cleanup.
2. Register your cleanup (https://www.nashville.gov/departments/transportation/webform/neighborhood-cleanup-registration-form) to get free supplies (gloves, trash bags, safety vests, etc.).
3. Pick up supplies before your cleanup (we’ll notify you when supplies are ready).
5. Let us know where to pick up the trash bags after the cleanup.
6. Share pictures of your cleanup on social media and tag us (@NashvilleDOT).

For more information on cleanups and litter prevention visit StopLitter.Nashville.gov (http://stoplitter.nashville.gov) .

Storm Debris Collection Update
Since February 3, more than 1.1 million cubic yards of debris have been collected from the curb. For perspective, NDOT's entire 2025 brush program collected 87,000 cubic yards of brush/vegetation.

For residents with downed trees, limbs, other vegetation:
A series of county-wide residential storm-related vegetation debris collections is ongoing. Vegetation/Brush should be moved to the curb for collection.
* There are currently no size guidelines for storm-related vegetation brush piles, but piles should not block utility infrastructure, culverts, storm drains, or drainage ditches, fire hydrants, sidewalks, bike lanes, or travel lanes.
* NDOT is suspending regular residential brush collection services until further notice. Do not submit a hubNashville request for collection.
* Davidson County residents can dispose of brush and other yard waste free of charge (trailers will be charged a fee) at Living Earth (https://www.livingearthtechnology.com/) .
